Kaspersky Total Security 2024 is a one-year antivirus and privacy subscription for one device, running Windows, macOS, Android or iOS. It suits home users outside the United States who want malware protection, safe banking, a password manager and parental controls. The activation code is delivered by email.
Not for use in the United States
This licence must not be bought or used in the United States. The US Department of Commerce banned Kaspersky sales there from 20 July 2024. Kaspersky stopped sending updates to US users after 29 September 2024, so the software would not stay protected.
US buyers should choose McAfee Total Protection instead. Customers in other countries can activate and update this product normally.

- No other real-time antivirus running at the same time.
How to download, install and activate
- Uninstall any other antivirus. Two real-time scanners on one device often conflict and slow it down.
- Download the Kaspersky installer from kaspersky.com or your device's app store.
- Install the app and sign in to your My Kaspersky account, or create one.
- When asked, enter the activation code from your email.
- Run the first full scan and let the app download its latest databases.
Kaspersky renamed its home range in 2022 to Standard, Plus and Premium. "Total Security" is the older product name, but the code is still activated through the current Kaspersky app and your My Kaspersky account.

Frequently asked questions
How do I activate a Kaspersky Total Security code?
Install the Kaspersky app from kaspersky.com and sign in to My Kaspersky. Open the licence section and enter the activation code from your email. The app checks the code online and shows the expiry date. If the code is refused, check your country first, then contact LicenceHouse with a screenshot of the error.
What happens when the one-year subscription ends?
When the year ends, Kaspersky stops updating its threat databases, and protection becomes weaker. LicenceHouse does not renew automatically, so nothing is charged. Before expiry, buy a new code and add it in the app. Kaspersky normally stores it as a reserve code that starts when the current one ends.
Can I use this Kaspersky licence on more than one device?
No. This code covers one device at a time for one year. Activating it on a second device will usually be refused, or it may move the licence away from the first. If you need several devices, buy one code per device. Each code can protect a different platform.
How do I move Kaspersky to a new computer?
Uninstall Kaspersky from the old computer, or remove the device in your My Kaspersky account. Then install the app on the new computer and sign in. Enter the same activation code, or apply the licence from your account. The remaining subscription time moves with it.
